Crossflon® material and component selection

Which Crossflon® grade is best for aggressive chemicals?

Crossflon® 1000 is the starting point where optimum chemical resistance, purity and low friction are required. Crossflon® 1601 can suit general chemical service and low molecular weight media. Always confirm concentration, temperature and the complete duty cycle.

Which grade should be reviewed for high wear or load?

Crossflon® 1403 is ceramic-reinforced for wear, creep, deformation and extrusion resistance in higher-load and dynamic duties. Crossflon® 605 can also be relevant where rigidity and reduced cold flow are priorities.

Can Crossflon® parts be manufactured to a drawing?

Yes. Custom machined parts include bushes, spacers, washers, sleeves, discs, rings and complex geometries, subject to drawing and application review.

What information is needed for a material review?
