PTFE Products in Oil & Gas Industries

Beldam Crossley was one of the first UK companies to process PTFE polymer. We take this heritage of innovation very seriously and work steadily to continue to do so.

In the past half-century we have established ourselves as a leading supplier of products based upon the PTFE polymer material. Therefore, these products are supplied to major oil and gas companies worldwide.

Additionally, our proprietary Crossflon® blended grades of PTFE are used in both onshore and offshore applications. These range from down-hole drilling, valves, pumps, compressors and generators.

Slide Bearing Manufacturers

We have been manufacturing Crossflon® Slide Bearings for over 35 years.

This product is used to solve movement problems caused by temperature changes, differential material thermal expansion, settlement and natural forces encountered by high winds and seismic activity.

Typical applications of our Crossflon® Slide Bearings include pipelines, heat exchanges, pressure vessels, storage tanks and connecting bridges.

Over the decades we have worked tirelessly to push our products forward, discovering how our technology can be of further use to the industries it is supplied to.

Furthermore, this research has enabled us to develop the Crossflon® Skidway System which is used to aid the skidding of topsides, jackets and other heavy fabrications.

To Conclude, using this technology, it is possible to successfully load, transport and launch structures weighing in excess of 45,000 tonnes.
