Exciting times ahead as we are on a journey to enter new markets following organic growth and the installation of new cnc machinery in our 30,000sqft facility in Bolton.
This role will very much appeal to those individuals who have a real passion for machining, tight tolerances, working on soft materials such as PTFE with a keen eye for detail and problem solving. You will be working on special one offs to medium volume batch work for clients across many sectors including subsea, defence, space, aerospace and industrial markets.
To succeed in this Machinist job, you will need previous experience as a cnc machinist- be able to program from scratch ( siemens, haas, fanuc) 3 and 5 axis and work to tight tolerances. You will also require the ability to read and understand technical drawings and choose the correct measuring equipment for any given task. Any experience with Edgecam 3d modelling or machining with polymers- plastics, nylon would be advantageous. Why join us?
