Beldam Crossley offer a comprehensive PTFE machined bellows design and manufacturing service.
Our Machined Bellows are used in many applications and prove effective in reducing vibration transmission, whilst accommodating expansion and contraction in various equipment.
Crossflon® type ‘M’ Machined bellows offer strength and pressure resistance which means they are ideally suited for use as a mechanical seal element and also on glass pipe liners.
Crossflon® type ‘V’ Machined bellows provide greater flexibility for a given length, are used to absorb vibration, allow for misalignment and provide a barrier to protect other components from dust, contamination and splashing.

Beldam Crossley has been moulding PTFE for over half a century. We have since developed a wide range of High Performance Crossflon® materials, each suited to a specific application.
M Bellows
Type M bellows are manufactured by CNC machining convolutions directly into a homogenous PTFE cylinder. This gives the bellows a uniform wall thickness, high pressure rating, and structural strength for dynamic sealing and motion absorption.
V Bellows
V bellows differ from M bellows in the way they are produced: the convolutions are cut (not machined) into the PTFE core. This approach results in a thinner wall structure that enhances flexibility but is better suited to lower pressures.
