PILOT LIDPACK® 3801L consists of a elastomeric core, surrounded by a cushion of Polypropylene, which has been spirally wrapped, with layers of PTFE tape to give maximum chemical resistance.
A second layer of braided of PTFE yarn gives the finished packing strength and resists abrasion. The final outer layers of unsintered PTFE tape gives complete impermeability to liquids and chemicals.
The construction ensures excellent recovery after compression from continual opening\closing of the tank lid.
